Question 1

Are rabbits hard to care for?

Accepted Answer

Contrary to what you might read online, no. Rabbits just need timothy-based feed pellets, hay, and water. Don't give your bunny other treats without thorough research, and handle them with care and gentleness — they'll love you unconditionally.

Question 2

Should I get a girl or a boy?

Accepted Answer

Boys tend to be more playful. If you want a calmer rabbit, you'll want a girl. If you want two rabbits, get girls — boys fight with each other.

Question 3

Should I get my rabbit fixed?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Fixed rabbits are much easier to potty train, less aggressive (including with other rabbits), and you avoid unwanted pregnancies.

Question 4

What if my rabbit gets sick?

Accepted Answer

Please don't hesitate to call right away — Michael is here to help before or after purchase. Reach us at 423-540-6566.

Question 5

What if I send a deposit and the bunny gets sick before I pick them up?

Accepted Answer

Every rabbit gets a health check before being sold. If there's any issue, you'll receive a 100% refund or a replacement. That's the one exception to our non-refundable deposit.

Question 6

When can I pick up my bunny?

Accepted Answer

Kits stay with their mother for 6–8 weeks. We'll coordinate a convenient pickup time once they're old enough.

Question 7

Where is pickup?

Accepted Answer

Pickup is in Newport, Tennessee. Our farm is a private residence (not a pet store), so we share the address with you once your visit or pickup is confirmed.

Question 8

Do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

No. If you can't pick up locally, we work with a 3rd party for transport to your door or city — prices start at $100. We do not ship rabbits via cargo or unattended airline transport. Some buyers fly into Tennessee and bring their rabbit home in-cabin.

Question 9

What's the deposit policy?

Accepted Answer

A flat $50 non-refundable deposit reserves a young rabbit who isn't yet old enough for pickup. The deposit is applied toward the total price. The only exception to non-refundability is a failed health check at pickup — in that case, you receive a 100% refund or a replacement.

Question 10

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

On our Adopt page you can pay a deposit with PayPal (PayPal balance, Venmo, or debit/credit card) or Cash App ($amrabbits), same as our Make a Payment page. If you need something different, contact us and we'll help.

Question 11

Can I visit before purchasing?

Accepted Answer

Yes — submit a visit request on our website and we'll confirm a time. Once confirmed, we'll share the address. We don't offer general tours of the other animals on the farm, but we're happy to share photos of what we do.
